Recognition & Accomplishments in the Community
In December 2013, Martin Health System brought high-quality health care to the residents of west Port St. Lucie when the doors to Tradition Medical Center opened. The state-of-the-art acute care facility is conveniently located on the Tradition Center for Innovation campus at the southwest corner of Tradition Boulevard and Interstate 95 in Port St. Lucie. It is 5 minutes from any community about Tradition FL.
The hospital features 180 private rooms to ensure the comfort and privacy of our patients and their families.
All rooms are broken up into various Departments such as: Emergency Department, Maternal-Child Department, Surgery, Diagnostic Imaging Services, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Infusion Suites, and Physician Offices. Their 27+ bed emergency department makes it the largest of the four emergency departments. The surgeons have a wide range of specialties including general, back and spine, and orthopedic surgeries, as well as endoscopy to be able to treat patients. Diagnostic Imaging services include fluoroscopy, X-Rays, CT Scans, MRIs, and Ultrasounds. If rehab is needed for patients, rehab is available, too.

March 2016: Port St. Lucie is #1 city for millenials buying their first home.
February 2016: Florida Department of Health announced the 80 communities, including Port St. Lucie, recognized as 2016 Healthy Weight Community Champions. January 2016: The South Florida Surf and City of Port St. Lucie are awarded a franchise by the Premiere Development League (PDL). This semi-professional soccer team will be playing all of its home games in Port St. Lucie at the South County Regional Stadium. They will be part of a national league that has over 80 teams.
